Now that I have a voice, look out. There's no telling what I might say.
The photo I have chosen says it all . . . it's been a hard ride but I'm staying on for the count.
I've had nine careers. I've been a Wife, Mother to 2 boys, Office Manager, FBO, Commercial Pilot ASEL, Salesperson, Dog Trainer, Business Owner doing Video Production and ,now, a Photographer.
I've been a widow since 1969. Trying to make a decent living without a degree was a struggle. Back in those days no one gave you anything. On the contrary, there were people who were trying to take everything you had and often did. I made a lot of mistakes but I survived. My youngest son was killed at age 16 - I survived. I wanted to curl up and die but I had another son who needed a strong mother. I raised a man who has seen hard times, but he has been a wonderful caring husband and a wonderful caring father to his 3 children. BTW, nobody ever gave him anything, either.
